Agreement to Terms
By accessing our website or using the services of John Claude Painting, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Services
John Claude Painting provides residential and commercial painting services in the Phoenix, Arizona metropolitan area. Our services include but are not limited to:
- Interior and exterior painting
- Cabinet painting and refinishing
- Stucco and drywall repair
- Popcorn ceiling removal
- Wood staining and sealing
- Commercial painting services
Estimates and Pricing
Free Estimates: We provide free, no-obligation estimates for painting projects. Estimates are based on our assessment of the work required at the time of inspection.
Pricing: Final pricing is confirmed in a written proposal or contract. Prices may be adjusted if the scope of work changes or if unforeseen conditions are discovered during the project.
Validity: Estimates are typically valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
Service Agreements
Before work begins, customers will receive a written proposal detailing:
- Scope of work
- Materials to be used
- Project timeline
- Total cost and payment terms
- Warranty information
Work will not commence until the proposal is approved and any required deposit is received.
Payment Terms
Deposits: A deposit may be required to schedule your project. Deposit amounts vary based on project size.
Progress Payments: For larger projects, progress payments may be scheduled at agreed-upon milestones.
Final Payment: Final payment is due upon completion and after the final walkthrough.
Accepted Methods: We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
- Provide accurate information about the property and project requirements
- Ensure reasonable access to work areas
- Remove or secure valuable items near work areas
- Inform us of any known hazards (lead paint, asbestos, etc.)
- Maintain a safe environment for our workers
Warranties
Workmanship: We stand behind our work. If you're not satisfied with the quality, we'll make it right during the final walkthrough.
Materials: Paint products carry manufacturer warranties. We'll provide information about applicable warranties upon request.
Cancellation Policy
Customer Cancellation: Customers may cancel scheduled work with reasonable notice. Deposits may be non-refundable if cancellation occurs after materials are purchased or within a specified timeframe before the scheduled start date.
Weather Delays: Exterior projects may be rescheduled due to weather conditions. This does not constitute cancellation.
Liability
John Claude Painting is fully licensed, bonded, and insured. We carry liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage. However, we are not liable for:
- Pre-existing conditions not disclosed during the estimate
- Damage caused by circumstances beyond our control
- Issues arising from customer-supplied materials
Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, and design elements, is the property of John Claude Painting and is protected by copyright laws.
Website Use
You agree not to use our website for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the website's functionality.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from our services will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be handled in accordance with Arizona state law.
